He has trained at premier institutes of the country, doing his MBBS from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and his superspeciality training i.e Mch in Neurosurgery from the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (IPGME&R), Kolkata. He underwent further training in Minimally Invasive and Complex Spine Surgery at University of California San Francisco (UCSF), San Francisco, USA. Dr Gulati’s philosophy is to help patients avoid surgery whenever possible, surgery is only suggested as a last resort.
